Woman stabbed in Abra

BANGUED, Abra  – A 33-year old woman was hurt after she was accidentally stabbed on her chest while trying to pacify a commotion within their neighbourhood at Agtangao, here, recently.

Senior Superintendent Antonio
Bartolome, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Jackelyn Bolor, 33, married while he named the suspect as a certain Prudencio Bolor, both residence of Agtangao, Bangued, Abra.

Initial police investigation showed that Prudencio Bolor and Wilmer Bolor were having a fistfight in their neighbourhood when the victim’s husband, Renato Bolor, tried to interfere.

Sensing danger on what her husband was doing, the victim tried to pacify her husband from meddling in the commotion but she was accidentally stabbed by the suspect on her chest.

The victim was immediately rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect surrendered to responding police operatives in the place of incident.
