BAGUIO CITY – A 31-year old unemployed woman was hurt after she was mauled by a lone suspect inside a bar along Abanao St. here Saturday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Mary Grace Ranio Caccam, 31, single, unemployed, and a resident of Gumamela St., Fairview, Baguio City, while he named the suspect as a certain Mommy Oning.
Initial police investigation showed the victim went inside the establishment to meet a friend in order to settle their dispute.
While inside the establishment, she immediately went to the table where her friend was and started discussing their problem.
However, while they were settling their dispute, the suspect suddenly ordered her to leave but she refused to do so.
At this juncture, the suspect immediately stood up, dragged her, pushed her and pulled her hair and then banged her at the wall.
The victim tried to free herself from the suspect but failed to do so and she was only released when the suspect blood coming out from her head.
The victim brought herself to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
