BAGUIO CITY September 28 – A 24-year old housekeeper was injured after she was repeatedly hacked by a 45-year old jobless woman after a heated argument that erupted between them during a drinking session at South Central Aurora Hill, hill, Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Kimberly Ann Ladines Quimson, 24, single, housekeeper while he named the suspect as Flordeliza Oliver Flores, 45, single, unemployed and both residents of South Central, Aurora Hill, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect, together with some companions, had a drinking session when the suspect confronted the victim because of an alleged illicit affair with her live-in partner that resulted to a heated altercation between them.
At this juncture, the suspect threw a shoe to the victim but she did not retaliate and instead proceeded to her room to avoid further altercations.
However, the suspect then grabbed a bolo and followed the victim in her room and hacked her twice hitting her on her left hand and back.
The victim was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by responding police operatives.
The case is now the subject of further investigation and the filing of the appropriate charges against the suspect.
