Widow hacked by live in partner in Abra

BANGUED, Abra – A 32-year old widow was hurt after she was hacked by her live in partner during a heated altercation inside their residence at Anggad, Bacsil, here, recently.

Senior Superintendent Antonio Barolome, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Jeravie Valeros Bulda, 32, widow, while he named the suspect as her live in partner, Jaybert Belena, 31, unemployed, both residents of Brgy., Anggad-Bacsil, Bangued, Abra.

Initial police investigation showed the suspect got irritated after he saw the victim remove the sim card of his mobile phone and without any word, he grabbed a bolo and hacked her several times on the different parts of her body.

The victim was immediately rushed by concerned neighbours to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by concerned police operatives.
