BAGUIO CITY  – A 21-year old waitress was injured after she was shot once on her forehead by a still unidentified gunman while she was walking in front of a church along Otek St., here, at around 9:15 in the morning, Wednesday.

Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Jenalyn Libungan Rosimo, 21, single, a casual waitress of the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City and a resident of Buyagan, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Initial police investigation showed the victim was walking along the road proceeding towards the jeepney terminal where she and her friend agreed to meet when she was fired upon by a lone gunman who immediately fled from the crime scene after the said incident.

The victim was immediately rushed by concerned citizens to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment where she is now undergoing close medical supervision while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
