TUBA, Benguet – The town’s No. 4 top most wanted person facing alleged child abuse charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his residence at Yagyagan, Tadiangan, here, Monday.
Senior Inspector Jim Hilario, chief of the Tuba Municipal Police Station, identified the arrested wanted individual as Rufino Lacbao Losnong, 55, single, laborer, and a resident in Yagyagan, Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rufus G. Malecdan, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 9 in La Trinidad for violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with a still unspecified bail for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was brought to the Tuba Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
