It is customary that our parents send us to good school, get college diploma, and get an unwavering work. It is blissful when all the parents’ children get college diploma and get a stable job. This is what all parents’ dream of all their children. For some, it is their parents who chose their child’s course in college. For others, it is the child’s choice. Way back in our college days, we (Jimmy Jr. and Michelle) have many classmates whom their parents chose their course. So, what happened to them? The effect is that they are hard up in their higher year level resulting to shifting from one course to another which they actually desire. Well, it is a different story when parents influence the decision making of their child’s choice with parents who insist their choice to their child.
Basically, it does not matter what university you went to, or what sex, race, or religion you are part of. Nowadays, all it takes is an idea.
As what our former mentors are always saying in our class, “If you are not happy with your work despite the high salary, better resign. For this can cause stress, further depression, and more.”
“Follow your passion. Stay with a work you are happy at.” If you follow your passion, you are more cheerful. If you follow your passion, you are more inspired. If you follow your passion, you are more productive. If you follow your passion, you can become rich. If you follow your passion, you can become wealthy. But of course, becoming wealthy when you follow your passion is not just that simple. You have to be diligent and economical. Create a plan. Implement it. And, review. Just concentrate on the skills and knowledge you have. In doing so, you minimize the mere thinking of “what if” all the time which further depresses you.
