La Trinidad, Benguet – A 28-year old sales lady was hurt after he was mauled by a lone suspect outside a store at Central Buyagan, Poblacion here recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Gybil Agero Aragon, 28, single, sales agent, native of Tacloban City and a resident of AD 205, Central Buyagan, Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet, while he identified the suspect to be a certain Francis.
Initial police investigation showed the victim went to a store near their boarding house to buy something when the suspect, who earlier uttered words that she could not understand, suddenly went at the center of the road and challenged the Warays in the area.
When the victim passed by, the suspect allegedly punched her face and breast that resulted to her sustaining injuries and she was rushed to the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) for medical treatment.
The suspect, who immediately escaped from the crime scene, is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives for him to answer for the crime he committed against the victim.
