BAGUIO CITY – ‘Paskong Pinoy’ will be the primary feature of the annual Christmas Village that will be presented by the Baguio Country Club (BCC) that will run through from November 6, 2020 to January 6, 2021.
However, Christmas Village goers will be required to reserve their tickets online before going to the venue in observance to the prevailing health protocols under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) status of the city.
BCC management stated that online tickets can only be used on the chosen time schedule and that no show guests will not be entitled to refund or re-scheduling of their visit to the popular village.
Guests are advice to file a notice to the BCC management 48 hours before their scheduled visit to the village for their refund or re-scheduling and that the refund will be subject to 10 percent handling fee.
The ticket rate for day schedule which is from 9 am to 5 pm will be P75 for adults; P50 for senior citizen; P25 for children aged 4 to 12 years old and the ticket will be free for the BCC members, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and toddlers aged 0-3.
For the night schedule rate which is from 6 to 8 pm, the ticket rate will be P100 for adults; P75 for senior citizens; and P50 for children aged 4 to 12.
The ‘Paskong Pinoy’ Christmas Village shall initially with 9-time schedules, each time schedule is 1 hour with 15 minutes elapses to allow full sanitation and disinfection of the area.
BCC is only accepting GCash transaction for online reservation payment for those that are interested to visit the Christmas Village.
Moreover, guests are also required to fill out the prescribed health declaration form and that they will also be mandated to wear their face masks and face shields at all times while touring the village as part of the established health protocols to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the area.
For those visitors that had been allowed by the city to visit the city, they must also upload in the online registration pertinent documents such as valid identification card, health declaration form and their QR-coded travel pass for them to be able to tour around the village.
The different features of the annual Christmas Village is one of the frequented destinations in the city during the Yuletide season.
This year’s presentation of the Christmas Village will be simple but meaningful in time for the celebration of the Yuletide season under the new normal after the heavy impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to the employment of the people, the operation of business, the lucrative economic activities and sources of livelihood of the people as the same impacted the living condition of the people from all walks of life.
The BCC Christmas Village will have its soft launching on November 9, 2020 before the same will be formally opened to other guests from inside and outside the city as part of BCC’s contribution in helping bring back the vibrance of the local economy through the gradual and calibrated opening of businesses that comply with the basic health and safety protocols crafted by the inter-agency task force for the management of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
