LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The municipal government hailed the management and administration of the privately-owned Cordillera Hospital of the Divine Grace (CHDG) as one of the government’s major partners in delivering quality health care services to the people, especially during the height of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic that paved the way for an effective and efficient response during the difficult times.
Mayor Romeo K. Salda, in his message during the celebration of the hospital’s 5th anniversary recently, stated that it only seemed like yesterday when CHDG opened its doors to the public as the first-ever private hospital in the town and that over the past 5 years, it was able to grow as a vital health care provider catering to the health care needs of people not only from the municipality, but also from the neighboring provinces and regions in the Cordillera, Ilocos and Cagayan Valley regions.
He added that the municipal government had been a witness to the hospital’s progress and success over the past 5 years and the people are delighted and proud on how CHDG has come to become one of the premier private health facilities in the Baguio and Benguet areas, especially in catering to the rapidly increasing requirement for quality health care services offered to patients wanting such services.
Mayor Salda expressed the municipal government’s gratitude to CHDG’s management for its all-out support amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by allowing its first-class facilities as venue for the ongoing vaccination program, among other related activities, that contributed to the successful implementation of such interventions.
The municipal chief executive also commended all personnel who continuously devote their efforts to provide world-class health care services under CHDG’s core values of integrity, compassion, excellence and teamwork that allowed the facility to gain its status as one of the preferred medical services providers.
According to him, CHDG, which has developed at a very fast pace while upholding its mission of promoting quality and affordable health care to the people inside and outside the locality, had always been true to its values and continuous to be a reliable ally and partner of the municipal government in providing quality health care services in the northern Luzon and will surely be even more so in the future.
Salda assured the municipal government’s all-out support to the CHDG management as it gains momentum for its growth and expansion to further enhance the delivery of quality health care services to those wanting to undergo medical treatment in the said facility.
He pointed out that the government cannot solely provide for the quality health care services being aspired for by the people, thus, partnership with the private sector is necessary to cater to the medical treatment requirements of patients.
