BAGUIO CITY – Kalinga Rep. Allen Jesse C. Mangaoang was able to successfully make a hole-in-one at hole No. 16 of the Pinewoods Golf Club during Wednesday’s fun game with golfing buddies.
The lawmaker was in the company of Benguet Corporation (BC) legal counsel Atty. Rudy Lockey, the chief executive officer of Crown Legacy Hotel Corp. and RUA Construction and Development Corporation Romy Aquino and Pampanga-based businessman Rudy Miranda when he made the rare hole-in-one in one of the most difficult holes in the 18-hole golf course.
Mangaoang made the hole-in-one at the 172-yard hole No. 16 using a No.8 Honma Club iron and a Pro V1 titlist 1 ball.
The Kalinga lawmaker was the first golfer that was able to make the coveted home-in-one in the said hole since the golf course was opened for golf enthusiasts several years ago.
‘I was surprised that I was able to make a hole-in-one in one of the most difficult holes in the golf course. I was inspired to play even though it was just a fun game,” Congressman Mangaoang stressed. By HENT
