BAGUIO CITY – A 59-year old man died after he was shot to death by two still unidentified suspects in front of the Sunnyside building, Tabora Park, Lower Magsaysay, here, Thursday night.

Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Polce Office (BCPO), identified the fatality as Felecito Tudlen, 59, married, a native of Lobon, Tadian, Mountain Province.

Initial police investigation showed that the victim entered a night spot in the said building and reportedly drunk liquor when the two suspects, who were reportedly known to him, suddenly approached him and they had a conversation.

Witnesses informed probers that after 20 minutes, the two male persons left him and after a few moments, he also decided to leave the establishment.

While outside the building, gunshots were heard from a still undisclosed direction that caused him to fall bloodied on the ground due to a gunshot wound on his head.

The victim was immediately rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to the fatal gunshot wound on his head.

Probers have in their custody two witnesses who reportedly saw the incident and could provide them with the possible identities of the two suspects considering that there were no close circuit television cameras in the place of incident and its vicinity.
