BAGUIO CITY 29 – A 27-year old vendor, who allegedly abducted and rape an 11-year old elementary pupil, was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents inside his residence Km. 3, Asin Road, here, Friday afternoon.
Police Col. Allen Rae F. Co, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested kidnapping and rape suspect as Sammy Nonog Pacle, 27, single, vendor and a native of Sili, Naguilian, La Union but presently residing at Km. 3, Asin Road, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that on February 27, 2020, the parents of an 11-year old elementary pupil reported to the police that the latter was allegedly abducted by still unidentified individuals while she was on her way home.
Upon a review of the closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footage along Harrison Road, probers saw the suspect with the victim going towards a taxi stand where they boarded a cab.
The footage was then showed to a vendor at the city public market who was able to identify the suspect and where he is living.
Investigators, together with the said vendor, immediately proceeded to the victim’s rented room and were able to rescue the helpless victim and arrest the suspect.
Based on the initial testimony of the victim, the suspect allegedly threatened to kill her if she refused to go with her.
The victim was immediately subjected to medical examination where it was discovered that she was allegedly raped by the suspect who is reportedly facing previous rape and abduction charges.
