Kalinga tricycle driver nabbed for P200,000 shabu

TABUK CITY, Kalinga  – A 45-year old tricycle driver was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession at least P200,000 worth of shabu during a drug buy bust operation at Puok 2, Bulanao here Monday afternoon.

Senior Superintendent Victor K. Wanchakan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested drug pusher as Virgilio Cruz Rosadino, 45, male, tricycle driver, and a resident of 5213 P-1, Guyabano St., San Vicente, Caloocan City, Metro Manila.

Seized from his possession were five, “Bulto” of heat sealed plastic sachets   containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu” approximately weighing 25 grams with DDB value of P200, 000.00 and the recovery of the boodle money.

The suspect and the seized pieces of evidence were brought to the Kalinga Provincial Police Office for documentation and inventory awaiting the filing of the charges of violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law against him before the Tabuk City prosecutor’s office.
