Jobless man hurt in Abra hacking incident

BANGUED, Abra  – A 35-year old jobless man was injured after he was hacked by one of his drinking partners in their neighbourhood at Calaba South, here, Tuesday.

Police authorities identified the injured individual as Jimmy Brazil Bayle, 35, married, unemployed while the suspect was named as Doming Apolinar, both residents of Calaba South, Bangued, Abra.

Initial police investigation that the victim, the suspect and several companions were having a drinking spree when the former had a heated altercation with one of their drinking buddies.

The victim decided to go home but he was followed by the one that he had an altercation and their argument continue.

After a few moments, the suspect suddenly appeared and hacked the victim once on his back and fled towards an undisclosed direction, together with the one that he had an altercation.

The victim was brought to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
