Jobless man arrested for marijuana inside billiard hall

BAGUIO CITY  – A 19-year old jobless man was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected dried marijuana leaves inside a billiard hall, Abanao St. here, over the weekend.

Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested drug courier as Naldy Garcia Nidoy, 19, single, jobless, and resident of No. 40-A Legarda Road Extension, Baguio City.

Initial police investigation showed the suspect entered the billiard hall holding the suspected dried marijuana on his hand and showed to the people inside the said establishment.

Alarmed over what the suspect had done, concerned individuals immediately sought the assistance of the BCPO operatives that resulted in his arrest and the subsequent confiscation of the dried marijuana leaves which was subsequently brought to the crime laboratory for analysis.

The arrested individual was brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against him.
