SABLAN, Benguet – The No. 1 top most wanted person in the municipality of Itogon, who had been hiding in this municipality, was successfully arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents during the servie of his warrant of arrest for attempted murder in his alleged hideout at Tuge, Banengbeng here Saturday morning.
Senior Inspector Azalea N. Rabena, chief of the Sablan Municipal Police Station, identified the arrested wanted individual as Mark Ampaguey Yeban, 23, single, farmer and a resident of Bayoga, Banengbeng, Sablan, Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marietta S. Brawner-Cualing of the Municipal Circuit Trial court (MCTC) Branch 5 for Tuba- Sablan for the crime of attempted homicide with a recommended bail of P50,000 for his temporary liberty.
He was brought to the Sablan Municipal Police Station prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
