He was immediately rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he later expired due to severe brain injury.

It was learned by probers from family members that the members of his family were able to notice slashes on the victims hands the past week after he reportedly drunk trumpet flower and was brought to the BGHMC psychiatric department but he was later released.

Probers added the victim had two suicide attempts in the past but he was prevented by family members who were able to pacify him from jumping from their house.
