TABUK CITY, Kalinga June 19 – A 38-year old government employee was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents after having found in his possession an unlicensed firearm and several rounds of live ammunitions during a checkpoint operation at Bulanao, here, Saturday.
Senior Superintendent Brent Majaco, provincial director of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested individual as Aguinaldo Busil Dang-ao, 38, married, government employee and a resident of Agbannawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops was an unlicensed 12-guage shotgun and five rounds of live ammunitions.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Tabuk City Police Office for documentation and the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
