Baguio City – The Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA), Cordillera Chapter will conduct a seminar on updates and current issues and lectures about the work place on July 26 and 27, 2016 at Carlos P. Romulo Hall, Teachers Camp, here.
The seminars will dwell specifically on Civil Service Commission (CSC), Department of Budget and management (DBM) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Rules and Regulations while the lectures will be focused on “Finding Happiness in the Workplace” and “Regional Development Initiatives for Nation Building”. These will be in line with this year’s GACPA theme, “GACPA Moving Up a Notch for Nation Building”.
Meanwhile, the two-day event will also feature free flu vaccination, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license renewal on the first day, and election of new officers. The license cards of those who will avail of the on-site renewal will receive their cards the following day. Baguio City Congressman Mark Go will be the Inducting Officer of the new officers.
Also, a one hour physical fitness activity “Zumba” on the first day will be held.
Registration fee for the event is Four Thousand Pesos (P4,000.00) to cover lunch, snacks, kit and other expenses. Participating agencies Accountants, Budget Officers, Disbursing Officers, Finance Officers, Auditors and other interested personnel may charge the fee against agency funds as per DBM Circular No. 563 dated April 22, 2016.
