BAGUIO CITY – A 48-year old foreman died after he was mauled by a drinking partner and stabbed by his own minor nephew during a drinking session at Central Guisad, here, Friday.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the fatality as Reynaldo Ballesteros Pascua, 48, married, foreman, while one of the suspects was named as Daniel Pidero, legal age, laborer, a native of Pangasinan and stabbed by his alleged minor nephew (name withheld) laborer, native of same province..
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his companions had a drinking session when Daniel arrived to join them that resulted to a heated altercation between them.
The arguments suddenly resulted to a fistfight when his minor nephew arrived and stabbed him.
The victim was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians due to fatal stab wounds while the suspects allegedly fled from the crime scene and are now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
