Farmer wounded in Tinoc shooting incident

TINOC, Ifugao  – A 34-year old farmer was injured after he was still by still unidentified assailants at Wangwang, here, recently.

Senior Superintendent Constancio Chinayog, Jr., officer-in-charge of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office, identified the wounded individual as Edgar Bentican Tindaan, 34, single, farmer and resident of Patkik, Julongan, Kiangan, Ifugao.

Initial police investigation showed that the victim was unceremoniously shot by the still unidentified individuals and that the motive of the shooting incident has yet to be established.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound on his shoulder and his leg and is now undergoing medical treatment at the Panupdupan District Hospital in Lamut town.

The case is still subject to further investigation to ascertain the motive of the shooting incident.
