PARACELIS, Mountain Province – A 31-year old farmer was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having in his possession suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia during the implementation of a search warrant inside his residence at Mambaklaw, Bantay, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Comila, officer-in-charge of the Mountain Province Police Office, identified the arrested drug suspect as Ronnie Daldawon Pigan, 31, married, farmer, at his residence in Sitio Mambaklaw, Bantay, Paracelis, Mountain Province.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Joseph Patnaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 35 in Bontoc were 1 heat-sealed transparent plastic containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, 1 heat sealed transparent plastic containing methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu residue and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The arrested drug suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Paracelis Municipal Police Station for documentation pending the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
