QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya – The No. 7 top most wanted person in the Cordillera was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents for charges of carnapping in his hideout at sitio Ay-ay, Barangay Dagupan here recently.
Chief Superintendent Ullysses Abellera, regional director of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordillera, identified the arrested wanted person in the regional level as Jerry Akiangan Lindawan, 31, married, farmer, and a resident of Tukucan, Tinoc, Ifugao.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Marybell Demot Marinas of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 8 in La Trinidad, Benguet for carnapping with a recommended bail of P180,000 for his temporary liberty.
Further, he was also arrested by virtue of a bench warrant issued by Judge Eduardo Diaz de Rivera of RTC Branch 10 for a similar charge of carnapping.
He was subsequently brought to the Quezon Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing courts for the proper disposition of the cases filed against him.
