Construction worker hurt by unemployed man

BAGUIO CITY – A 25-year old construction worker was wounded after he was hit by a piece of broker beer bottle during a drinking session at Km. 4, Pico, here, recently.

Senior Superintendent Floratne Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Franmark Bulhano  Alcayde, 25, single, construction worker, native of Negros Oriental and a resident of Km. 4, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet while he named the suspect as  Sidro But-ay, of legal age, native of Negros Oriental, unemployed, and with no permanent address.

Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect, together with their companions, were having a drinking session when a misunderstanding suddenly ensued between them.

At this juncture, the suspect grabbed a bottle of beer, broke it, and subsequently used the broken pieces to hurt the victim on his arm.

The victim was immediately rushed to the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation for him to answer for the crime he committed.
