Construction worker arrested for shabu in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – A 24-year old construction worker was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession alleged shabu and assorted illegal drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation along Ambuclao road, here, recently.

Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested drug pusher as Tony Betita Buenafe, 24, single, construction worker, and presently residing at Tiptop, Ambuklao Road, Baguio City.

Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops were one piece Heat-sealed sachet containing shabu with an approximate weight of more or less .58 grams including container, 2 pieces of 500 Bills-Buy Bust Money,  2 pieces of Rolled Aluminum Foils and 1 Lighter Cricket Brand and Colored Orange.

The arrested individual was subsequently brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
