BAGUIO CITY – The No. 3 top most wanted person in the Cordillera by the Highway Patrol Unit of the Philippine National Police who is currently facing carnapping charges was successfully arrested by combined law enforcers at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) recently.
Operatives of the RHPU arrested the carnapper identified as Von George Pineda, a resident of Happy Homes, Old Lucban, Baguio City who has a recommended bailbond of P300,000.00 for his temporary liberty as recommended by Judge Mona Liza Teongson-Tabora, former judge of the city’s Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 7.
In the station level, the No. 4 TMWP of Station 5, BCPO for the 2nd Quarter this year charged for violation of two counts of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 known as the Child Abuse law was arrested in his residence at No. 116 City Camp Proper, Baguio City in the afternoon of May 8, 2015.
Operatives of the City Intelligence Unit (CIU-BCPO) identified the suspect as Dominador Galvez Sr., 64, who has a recommended bail bond of P80,000.00 for his temporary liberty as recommended by Judge Mia Joy C. Ollares-Cawed of the RTC Branch 4.
Police authorities vowed to conduct unrelenting and uncompromising operations against wanted persons who continue to hide from the long arms of the law in order to give justice to their victims, their friends and relatives for the crimes they committed against them.
They called on individuals who have direct knowledge on the whereabouts of wanted individuals to immediately provide law enforcers with such information so that appropriate operations will be subsequently done to effect their arrest in the future.
