BAGUIO CITY – A 52-year old carpenter was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on separate warrants for two counts of rape at sitio Bobon, Loakan Proper here Saturday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested wanted individual as Noe Mamorno Brabante, 52, married, carpenter, a resident of No. 227 Purok Magsaysay, Loakan Proper Barangay, Baguio City.
He was arrested by virtue of two warrants of arrest issued by Judge Joseph Patnaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 35 in Bontoc, Mountain Province for two counts of rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7160 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was subsequently brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
