BAGUIO CITY June 13 – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Cordillera together with local police arrested last Friday two brothers, who are both members of a local drug group, for selling prohibited drugs at Asin Road, Baguio City.

Collared during the sting operation were Aprillo Balbin Lagman, alias Apeng and April, a resident of Balsigan, Baguio City and his brother Benjamin Jr. alias Benjie, a resident of Asin Road, Baguio City.

They were arrested for selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu worth P3,000.00 to an undercover anti-narcotics agent.  Upon their arrest, the suspects yielded four more sachets of suspected shabu and the buy-bust money.

They are now detained at the Baguio City Jail and will be facing cases for violation of Republic Act Number 9165, otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
