Brave Combat Federation is returning home to the Kingdom of Bahrain for yet another series of explosive events and 2020 Fighter of the Year Rolando Dy headlines the first event to be held on March 11, 2021.
Brave, the fastest-growing MMA promotion in the world and the truly global Mixed Martial Arts promotion, revealed a series of consecutive events will take place between March 11th and April 1st with four shows taking place at Kombat Kingdom culminating in the historical BRAVE CF 50.
Incidentally, Rolando Dy, who had a spectacular year in 2020, is set to headline the first event engaging Kyrgyzstan’s Abdisalam Kubanychbek in a Lightweight Title Eliminator bout that will serve as the main event for BRAVE CF 47:Asian Domination on March 11.
Kubanychbek, who debuted in Brave in 2019, carries a professional record of 17 wins and only three losses and has since then quickly became one of the most prominent Lightweight fighters in the promotion.
Kubanychbek, nickenamed ‘’Omok’’, earned back-to-back knockouts, against João Paulo Rodrigues and Vagif Askerov, and recently submitted Jahongir Saidjamolov in the second round, at BRAVE CF 46, last January.
The hype, however, is no smaller when it comes to Dy. The Filipino powerhouse was voted the 2020 BRAVE CF Fighter of the Year, after defeating Maciej Gierszewski and John Brewin within a two-month span.
A veteran of MMA even though he’s only 29 years old, Rolando Dy has dominated the competition since he made the move to the Lightweight division and earned the right to fight for a title shot at Brave.
BRAVE CF 47 will be the first of four events taking place at Kombat Kingdom labeled as “21 days of MMA mayhem”.
BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Nights follows the new iteration of Kombat Kingdom on March 18th, then BRAVE CF 49: Super Fights on March 25th.
The prime slot of the programming, though, is saved for BRAVE CF 50, which marks a series of landmarks to the Bahrain-based organization.
It will have taken a little over four years, exactly 1651 days, for Brave to achieve the 50th event.
In addition, Brave will be the first organization in the world to do so while having visited 21 different countries in the process.
While the full fight cards for the four events are expected to be released in the upcoming days, Brave officials have confirmed that Kombat Kingdom will feature multiple title fights, the next leg in the prestigious Flyweight World Title Tournament, and the biggest stars in the company.
Brave Combat Federation was founded in 2016 by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa and quickly established itself as the focal point for global MMA, hosting international events, developing talent worldwide, and fomenting the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
BRAVE CF now reaches 50 events with a solid growth curve, offering world-class MMA fights and content for fans around the world and paving the way for a new ecosystem for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
