LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The No. 1 top wanted person in Bokod was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children in his suspected hideout at Km. 3, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the wanted individual as Constancio Dampilig Capacap, 26, single, laborer, a native of Banao, Bauko, Mt. Province, and a resident of Km 3, Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rufus G. Malecdan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 9 for violation of the provisions of RA 9262 with a fixed bail of P40,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was brought to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
