Balili NHS-main prepares the needed mode of verifications for self-assessment and division validation of School- Based Management (SBM) level of practice this CY 2021.
The school supports Regional Memo no. 278 s. 2019 which gives the guideline on the utilization of SBM assessment tool with contextualized means of verifications (MOVs) that guides every school for the assessment and Benguet Division Memo no 89 s.2021 which mandates schools to conduct SBM self-assessment starting March-May 2021.
It is important that the school will accomplish the general objectives of SBM which are to improve the quality of the schools practice and learning outcomes, develop a functional management system for continuing improvement and best practices be consolidated and be utilized for continuous upgrading which boils down to highlighting the Cordillera learners even during this pandemic.
In this new mode of learning modality where teachers are not facing the students every day, they can be able to produce and make the necessary MOVs. Inspired by the specific objectives of the SBM that they are happy adding the preparation of MOVs in printing their modules.
Ma’am Melenia Cabatan , the SBM coordinator, together with the school head reorganized the SBM task force 2021 so as each will help in the preparation of the needed documents. School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) was also conducted for each group to be familiar with the tool being used in the assessment and to further appreciate what SBM is. By Junalyn S. Palking
