BAGUIO CITY – The city’s No. 9 drug personality died after he was shot to death by two still unidentified armed men at the corner of Navarro and Ledesma Sts., East Modernsite, here Tuesday.

Senior Superintendent George D. Dakeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the slain drug personality as Paul Simeon Lee, 47, PUV driver, and a resident of No. 144 Navarro St., East Modern Site, Aurora Hill, Baguio City.

Initial police investigation showed that the victim was about to remit his daily earnings to his boss when the two suspects who were wearing black jacket and brown sweater suddenly appeared from the dark and fired at him several times hitting him in the different parts of his body.

He was rushed by concerned citizens and his family members to the Notre Dame hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to six fatal wounds on the different parts of his body.

The firearm used in the incident is yet unknown considering that the recovered spent shells from the crime scene have to be subjected to the appropriate tests.
