Baggage boy hurt in Baguio stabbing incident

BAGUIO CITY  – A 21-year old baggage boy was hurt after he was stabbed by one of six individuals who allegedly engaged them to a fight in front of a convenient store along Session Road, here, Monday night.

BCPO officials identified the victim as Jerickson Velasques Gonzales, 21, single, baggage boy, and residing at Brooks point, Aurora Hill, Baguio City.

Initial police investigation showed the group of the victim were on their way to Upper Session road when the group of the suspects suddenly accosted them in front of a convenient store and started stabbing the victim several times on the different parts of his body.

The companions of the victim were able to move him away from the place of incident and immediately boarded a taxi and rushed him to he Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment.

He is now undergoing close medical supervision while the suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by the police personnel.
