TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The City Inter-agency Task Force (CIATF) on COVID-19 adopted in a meeting today, September 22, Resolution No. 72 of the Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) which orders the closure of all private and public cemeteries, columbariums, and memorial parks from October 29 to November 4.
City Administrator Arnold Tenedero said Tabukeños are allowed to visit the graves of their departed loved ones from September 17 to October 8, and from November 5 to November 15 – but entry will be limited to a certain number of visitors.
The IATF-EID’s Resolution No. 72, which was signed on September 17, states that the number of visitors shall be limited to a maximum of 30% of the venue capacity and visitors must wear face masks and face shields and observe social distancing.
The resolution does away with age restrictions when visiting during the allowed dates, which means even children and senior citizens will be allowed entry. By Iryll Sicnao
