Less than a week before the May 9 National and Local Elections, the Police Regional Office Cordillera participated in the Simultaneous Multi-Agency Send-Off Ceremony of Security Forces for 2022 National and Local Election at the Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on May 4, 2022.
The ceremony was personally attended by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE together with ATTY. EDERLINO U TABILAS, Regional Election Director of COMELEC-CAR who served as the guest of honor and speaker.
Other key personalities who attended the said ceremony were COMMO ALBERT MOGOL, AFP (RET), Regional Director of Office of the Civil Defense-CAR; MAKSIM BOTILAS, Admin Officer of the Department of Education (DepEd) – CAR; BGEN SANTIAGO ENGINCO, Commander of 503rd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army; and BGEN KHRISNAMURTI MORTELLA, Commander of 702nd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army.
During the program, representatives of the government and deputized agencies formally turned over their forces and resources and was received by the Regional Election Director of COMELEC CAR, Atty. Ederlino V. Tabilas.
A total of 445 Cordillera Cops are tasked as Regional Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF) and Quick Response Team (QRT) while 40 Philippine Army personnel and 14 Dep- Ed teachers were present in the ceremony.
“As we do our send-off ceremony today, we assure that we follow and attend to our sworn duties religiously and conscientiously. With our combined efforts and strong forces, I strongly believe that we can accomplish our end goal, a Secure, Accurate, Free, and Fair National and Local Elections.” PBGEN LEE said.
