BANGUED, Abra – The province’s No. 8 top most wanted person was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs law at South Calaba, here, Thursday.
Superintendent Mark Pespes, officer-in-charge of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested wanted person as Ariel Bayle Batallones, 31, single, farmer, at Barangay South Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jaime Dojillo, Jr. Of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 58 in Bucay for violation of the provisions of RA 9165 or the Comprehenssive Dangerous Drugs Law with a recommended bail of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was subseqeuntly brought to the Bangued Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issiung court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
