A freelance sales executive listed as a high value drug personality arrested in Abra

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Through the continuous conduct of intensified anti-illegal drugs operations of Police Regional Office Cordillera, a freelance Sales Executive listed as a High Value Drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation in the afternoon of June 23, 2021 at Casamata Hill in Brgy Zone 5, Bangued, Abra.

Citing the reports of Abra PPO, PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE identified the arrested suspect as Arvie Galarce Bigornia, 28 years old, freelance Sales Executive of a car dealership in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, a resident of Brgy. Angad, Bangued, Abra, and is listed as a High Value Target (HVT).

In the operation conducted by joint forces of Bangued police and Abra PIU, suspect Bigornia was arrested after he sold one (1) sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.02 gram with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 1,000.00 to an undercover operative who acted as poseur-buyer.

During his arrest, another one (1) small sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 0.5 gram with SDP of Php 3,400.00 and one (1) medium sized sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 1 gram with SDP of 6,800.00 were confiscated from his possession, along with the buy-bust money used in the transaction.

Also, the getaway vehicle driven by the suspect, RUSI SS100CC colored black-blue motorcycle, without plate number, was seized.

The onsite markings and inventory of all the confiscated pieces of evidence were accomplished in the presence of Mrs. Rachel M Caliwag, Office of the Provincial Prosecutor-Abra representative; Mr. Edgar Tanora, Media representative; and Janlou M.  Blanco, Barangay Kagawad.

Further, suspect Bigornia was brought to Abra Provincial Hospital for Medico legal examination and was subsequently brought to Bangued MPS for documentation prior filing of appropriate charges against him, while the confiscated sachets of suspected shabu will be turned over to Abra Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for laboratory examination.
