The common ailments of patients include upper respiratory tract infections, muscular strain disorders due to fatigue and old age and cardio-vascular diseases like hypertension, which are common diseases among Cordillerans.

“Handog” Kalusugan is a health program initiated by Governor Denis Habawel in partnership with SN Aboitiz and Senator Alan Cayetano. This program has doctors, nurses and volunteers who conduct the medical consultation in the various municipalities of the province.

Meanwhile, a consultation on mental illnesses or psychiatric disorder will be conducted on March 26 at the Senior Citizens Building in Lagawe town sponsored by the provincial government through the provincial health office.
