BAGUIO CITY (PIA) – –   Adhering to its  tagline, “We CARE, We share”,  the Cordillera Association of Region Executives continues  its humanitarian activities  to the less fortunate.

CARE is  supporting  six   college scholars for the academic year  2014 – 2015. They  are  enrolled in  various  courses  in different universities in the region.

The other scholars  have enrolled  BS Environmental Science at Benguet State University,  BS Education  at Kalinga Apayao State College); BS Information Technology at SLU, and  Information Technology (ACS).

Since  the CARE  scholarship program started  in 1996,  it has already  supported the tertiary education, both technical-vocational and baccalaureate courses, of more than 230 poor but deserving students.

The association is also involved  in  some  gift-giving and financial assistance/sponsorship project. For years now, the  association has been giving gifts like blankets to indigent patients at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
