BAGUIO CITY – Three persons were arrested by patrolling members of the Baguio city Police Office (BCPO) after having found in their possession an alleged unlicensed firearm and illegal drugs along Naguilian road here Tuesday dawn.
Senior Superintendent George Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrestede individuals as Peter Junard Dizon, 34, married, a seafarer and a resident of No. 145 M. Roxas St., A. Tabora Barangay, Baguio City; Sonny Dumo Soriano, 36, single, businessman and a resident of No. 19-B Purok 2, Aurora Hill, Baguio City; and Ken Dela Cruz Jadormio, 34, single, unemployed and a resident of No. 06 Bermuda Hills Subdivision, San Luis Village, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed patrolling law enforcers chanced upon an illegally parked vehicle along Naguilian road with the window on the driver’s side slightly opened which prompted them to approach the vehicle to inquire on what was going on.
As soon as they approached the vehicle, one of those seated at the back which was later identified as Ken Dela Cruz Jadormio took a short firearm from his waist and threw it on the back seat.
During the inspection of the vehicle, police operatives were able to discover a calibre .22 and suspected marijuana and shabu inside the vehicle.
The occupants of the vehicle and the seized alleged unlicensed firearm and illegal drugs were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against them.
