BAGUIO CITY – Three females students were injured after they were allegedly mauled by an 18-year old jobless lady in front of a bar along Lower Magsaysay Avenue here recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victims as Elizabeth Madigyem Faglinit, 19, single, student, and resident at San Luis Extension, Baguio City while he named the suspect as Kimshin Saganay Avelino18, single, jobless and boarder at KM3 La Trinidad, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were about to go home after having a drinking spree inside a bar when they suspect accidentally bumped them while going down the stairs that subsequently resulted in a commotion.
The suspect allegedly scratched the faces and pulled the hairs of the victims during the commotion that resulted to their sustaining injuries.
The victims were subsequently rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while responding police operatives were able to arrest the suspect who is now detained at the BCPO headquarters awaiting the filing of charges against her.
