LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The provinces of Kalinga, Ifugao and Mountain Province accredited Cordillera basic sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC), said Secretary General Rex A. Bayangan
The Province of Kalinga is the First Province to issue an Accreditation to CBSTC with Resolution No. 2019-016 dated January 29, 2019, Recognizing and Accrediting CBSTC in the entire Province of Kalinga. According to Secretary General Bayangan, Vice Governor James S. Edduba signed the Certificate of Accreditation in view of Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Resolution 2019-016.
Meanwhile on March 19, 2019, The Province of Ifugao Officially Accredited the Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC), Being a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in the Province of Ifugao under Resolution No. 2019-54.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Ifugao further endorsed the Application for Franchise of Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC) to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). Sec. General Bayangan, said that Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC) conducted series of Provincial Transportation Summit in the Province of Ifugao where majority of Jeepney and Van Drivers attended the Summit.
Lastly on March 26, 2019 Mt. Province Accredited the Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative with Resolution No. 2019-160. Vice Governor Francis O. Tauli signed the Accreditation of Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC).
Sec. General Bayangan said that the Accreditation given by the Provincial Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of the Three (3) Provinces was a good response by the Officials Supporting the Implementation of PUV Modernization Program in our Beloved Region envisioned by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
