3 arrested for shabu in Buguias

BUGUIAS, Benguet – Three suspected drug personalities were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in their possession alleged shabu during a buy bust operation inside the Dalog building, Abatan, here, recently.

Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested drug personalities as Aileen Dionisio Aligo a.k.a. “Bea”, 32, separated, businesswoman, native of Ud-udan, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet and manager of the Bea Videoke Bar; Jordan Ganasi Landisan a.k.a. “Kokan”, 31, separated, unemployed, and a resident of Bulalacao, Mankayan, Benguet; and Elvis Canuto Begay, 26, single, farmer, and a resident of Tagpaya, Buyacaoan, Buguias, Benguet.

Confiscated from Aligo were three heat sealed sachets containing suspected shabu having a total weight of 0.97 grams with a street value of at least P4,000 and the P1,000 buy bust money while recovered from her two male companions, who tried to prevent the operatives from arresting their companion, were two heat sealed sachets weighing 0.21 and 0.23 grams having a street value of P500 each.

The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Buguias Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to the filing of appropriate charges against them before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
