BAGUIO CITY – Two persons and their alleged soldier cohort were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in their possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation at Navy Base, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested drug suspects as Jaype De Malaca Guzman aka John Paul De Guzman, 33, fisherman native of San Jose, Nueva Ecija and his live-in partner Jam Marife Timbal aka Marife Timpal Penamente, 39, widow, tailor, native of Infanta, Quezon Province as well as their cohort, Roderick Antaso Del Mundo alias Sgt. Eric Del Mundo, 41, married, detailed at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), native of Magallanes, Cavite and presently residing at Navy Base, Baguio City.
Confiscated from the live in partners were assorted sachets of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The arrested individuals and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation pending the filing of the appropriate cases against them.
The operation was conducted through the efforts of PMA officials and those in the National Intelligence Coordinating Council (NICA).
