2 arrested for shabu in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Two persons were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having in their possession suspected shabu and other illegal drug paraphernalia during a drug buy-bust operation at Purok 6, Camp Allen, here, Sunday.

Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested drug couriers as Ferdinand Liwanag Brillo, 42, single, radio and TV technician and Diana Salcedo, Durango, 26, laundry woman, both residing at Purok 6 Camp Allen, Baguio City.

Confiscated from their possession by their operating troops were 1 piece heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu bought from Ferdinand Brillo; 1 piece   heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu recovered at the pocket of Diana Durango; 2 pieces Lighter colored dark blue and light blue; 2 pieces  Improvised aluminum foil recovered inside the room of the couple; 1 roll    Aluminum foil recovered inside the room of the couple; 1 piece            Scissors recovered inside the room of the couple and 1 piece 500 peso bill with serial no. PF 828942 (Marked money recovered from Ferdinand Brillo subscribed by Prosecutor Balangitan).

The arrested drug suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were subsequently brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of appropriate charges against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
