2 arrested for illegal drugs in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY September 08 – Two persons were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in their possession alleged illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during the implementation of a search warrant inside their boarding house at MRR Queen of Peace, here, Thursday.

Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested individuals as Sharon Tolentino Neri, 46, single, nurse; and Lawrence Gonzales Camilon, 43 years old, single, native of Imus, Cavite.

Confiscated from their possession by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Maria Ligaya Itliong Rivera of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 5 in Baguio City were 11 heat sealed sachets allegedly containing a still undetermined volume had value of shabu, one sling bag and a tin can.

The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against them.
