BAGUIO CITY-Volunteer Instructors of the Young Men’s Christian Association, Inc. in the different allied and combative sports are now in the final preparation of their training programs for the 2018 YMCA Summer Frolics which will kick-off on April 10, 2018 for the first batch of trainees and June 4, 2018 for the second batch.
The Summer Frolics program that will cater to children 6-16 years of age, will indulge themselves in learning the basics and fundamentals of martial arts and allied sports that will be supervised closely by experienced YMCA instructors in their field of sport. The schedules of the different disciplines are as follows: TaeKwon Do – 10:30-12:00 nn (MWF)- Mr. Melvin Morte, instructor. JUDO- 2:00-4:00 pm (MWF)- Sensei Willy Dino/Sensei Ferdie Cudao-instructors.
Karate- (SSKI) 9:00-10:00 am. MWF- Sensei Leo Cirillo- instructor. (JKA) 9:00-10:30 am. TTHS- Sensei Edgar Kapawen-instructor. (Sphinx) 10:30-12:00 nn. TTHS- Sensei William Colas-instructor. Badminton- (MWF)- 12:30-2:00 pm.- Mr. Jay Claveria – instructor and Basketball-(TTHS) 2:00-4:00 pm. Mr. Jhonson Kitong – instructor.
Registration and enrolment for the Summer Frolics is extended until April 21, 2018 to accommodate late enrolees. Likewise, the YMCA Pre-school Summer Reading Program registration for toddlers ages 4-6 years is still open. Classes will start on May 28, 2018 to June 29, 2018.
