TUBLAY, BENGUET – Glenn N. Duguis, Administrative Officer V of the Schools Division Office of Benguet, and Herminia M. Osting, School Principal IV of Tublay School of Home Industries (TSHI), accepted the three units Two-Storey Classroom buildings which were turned over by the representative from the Department of Public Works and Highways, here, last January 18, 2019.
Duguis expressed gratitude to the stakeholders and the LGU officials for their support during the turnover and inauguration. He further emphasized recipients of the buildings to maintain it. “Take care of the buildings and maximize the use of the new classrooms so that if the DepED will request for additional buildings, it will be granted,” he said.
Engr. Michael M. Big-asan, DPWH representative, further explained the reasons why the buildings were not immediately completed. “The completion of these projects were delayed due to the government procedures and unavoidable circumstances,” he said.
The three buildings cost around P16M (sixteen million) pesos from the Basic Educational Facilities Fund CY 2017 which were constructed by LINCEE General Construction and General Merchandise and EFLER Construction and Enterprise under the supervision of the DPWH – Benguet.
