BANGUED, Abra – A 32-year old tricycle driver was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during the implementation of a search warrant in his residence at Bangbangar, here, Thursday.
Superintendent Mark Pespes, officer-in-charge of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested drug personality as Marvin Belleza Paneza, 32 years old, tricycle driver, married and a resident of Bangbangar, Bangued, Abra.
Confiscated by the operating troops pursuant to the search warrant issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 1 in Bangued were 1 plastic sachet with suspected shabu residue, 2 bamboo sticks, 1 aluminum improvised burner, 1 scissor and 6 assorted lighters.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bangued Municipal Police Station for documentation awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
